Welcome to The Barnyard Kitchen!
This idea, project, whatever you want to call it, has been formed out of my love for cooking and treating my family with healthy, delicious, and filling recipes. I have one amazing husband and two equally amazing children. Between all three, I am kept on my toes at all times! I am a stay at home mama, housewife to the love of my life, and really enjoy spending time with them.
Eating healthy is important to us, but so is eating food that tastes good. We don't believe in eliminating any food group, but most of these recipes will limit or exclude white and refined anything, and will be replaced with wholesome ingredients, as close to the natural form as they can be. I also want to bring recipes that are easy to make, and don't take up much time.
On top of cooking, I want to be an encouragement to mamas who stay home for their families. It can get lonely sometimes, especially if you don't get out much. What we do for our families is hard, but it shouldnt be lonely. I want to welcome other mamas to connect here, where we can communicate, and share ideas to make our lives a little bit easier!!
